The role: - As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will handle varied and high-quality work with a focus on leveraged finance, corporate lending, corporate/sponsor led transactions and growth lending/venture debt. - You will work across the full transaction lifecycle including drafting and negotiating facilities agreements and security documents (both LMA and non-LMA form). - The role involves negotiating intercreditor arrangements, drafting standard form precedent documentation and working closely with corporate and restructuring teams. - The team handles a material amount of in-life work on a portfolio basis, working with lenders and borrowers on waivers, re-sets, restatements and bolt-ons. - There is a continued focus on cross-border and international transactions, providing excellent exposure to diverse and complex matters. - With a consistent volume of transactions, this is an excellent platform to assume matter responsibility and develop your own client files. - There is ample opportunity to participate in client development initiatives and contribute to the expansion of the practice. - The London office affords a great opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to advance personally whilst shaping the growth of the team and brand. About you: - You will be a qualified solicitor with between 2 and 4 years' PQE with strong leveraged finance and general banking experience. - A naturally proactive approach and genuine passion for banking and finance work are essential attributes. - You should be ready to assume matter responsibility and demonstrate initiative in managing client relationships. - Strong technical ability combined with commercial awareness and excellent client service skills. - The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team whilst also driving your own development and contribution to the practice. - An entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to contribute to the growth and success of the London office. - The role will suit an ambitious, talented banking lawyer who wants to work in an innovative, flexible and supportive environment where their authentic self is valued and their career progression is genuinely prioritised.
